The Department of Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1984. The Department offers a course of six semesters leading to a diploma in Electronics Engineering which is affiliated to AICTE.
To be a centre of excellence for training ethical, creative and technically proficient electronics engineers who can contribute to industry and society.
M1: To deliver high-quality education in engineering and technology through efficient teaching methodology
M2: To transform students into professionals by enhancing their skills, values, and ethics
M3: To nurture civic consciousness, social responsibility and environmental awareness in students

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES
PSO1: Acquire proficiency in the application of fundamental knowledge in core electronics for the analysis, design and working of various electronic systems and interpret the experimental data.
PSO2: Possess professional skills and knowledge of software design process. Familiarity and practical competence with a broad range of programming language and open source platforms.
PSO3: Employ modern computer languages, environments, and platforms in creating innovative career paths to be an entrepreneur and a zest for higher studies.
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
PEO1: Prepare the students to attain excellence in the field of electronics by applying fundamental knowledge to solve socio technical issues.
PEO2: Establish the students in analyzing electronic systems with the acquired knowledge
PEO3: Make the students to work in multi disciplinary areas with better managerial & communication skills to encourage the students for entrepreneurial activities along with environmental issues.

The Department of Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1984. The Department offers a course of six semesters leading to a diploma in Electronics Engineering which is affiliated to AICTE.The students for the diploma program are admitted based on the rank list prepared based on index score obtained in the Xth class. The annual intake is 60 students.
The students get placement through the Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPC) of the College. Most of the alumni of the college are currently working in reputed national and international organizations. Some of them pursued for B Tech through lateral entry. The Faculty of the department is the best
of the lot.
The Department has full- fledged laboratories. The department periodically organizes seminars and workshops to train students in the area of Electronics Engineering. Faculties from premier institutions are invited to the department for lectures under visiting faculty scheme. Department conducts periodic reviews by departmental committee and class PTA. Evaluation of faculty by students are performed once in a semester.
