Computer Engineering Department was started in 1984. It offeres diploma program with an yearly intake of 60 students.
To be recognized as a centre of innovative computer professionals with good skill and quality.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
The attributes of the NBA for diploma programmes are as following:
1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
2. Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
6. Project Management: Use Engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined Engineering activities.
7. Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
PEO1: To enable students to function effectively as professionals having good communication skills and leadership qualities with ethical and social commitment.
PEO2: To empower students to identify and solve computing problems by using their knowledge in mathematics and computer programming.
PEO3: To inculcate a passion for higher education, research and lifelong learning.
PEO4: To enable to utilize his/her education and contribute to the profession as an excellent employee or entrepreneur.

PSO1: Implement computer skill in the areas related to website designing, database applications, hardware and networking.

Computer Engineering Department was started in 1984. It offeres diploma program with an yearly intake of 60 students. Today the Department has a vibrant student body numbering about 150. The computing facility of the Department consists of more than 100 systems: two software labs running with Linux & Windows servers and one fully equipped hardware lab. The internet lab has a capacity of 25 systems with high speed internet connectivity and wifi facility. The Department also coordinates several co-curricular activities/trainings like Spoken Tutorial project- conducted by IIT Bombay, an initiative of National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India.
