The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 2013 with the aim of providing quality education and fostering innovation in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. The department offers Diploma programs designed to provide a strong foundation in areas such as power systems, control systems, electronics, and renewable energy technologies.
In recognition of its high standards in education, infrastructure, and faculty expertise, the department achieved the prestigious NBA (National Board of Accreditation) accreditation for the period 2023–2026. This milestone reflects our continuous dedication to excellence and our commitment to producing skilled professionals who contribute meaningfully to society.
The department offers excellent job opportunities for students in roles such as Sub Engineer, Production Engineer, Quality Control Officer, and Technical Supervisor in various public and private enterprises. With state-of-the-art laboratories, a robust curriculum, and active industry collaborations, the department ensures holistic development for students and prepares them to address the challenges of the modern technological landscape.
MUHAMMED FASIL KM (S6 EEE) and SHIVA V (S4 EEE) was part of the triumphant College team
The program started with a training session on LED Lamp making then followed by a rigorous process of assembling LED lamps after purchasing raw materials purchased from verified seller. Program culminated in the distribution of LED lamps in the fifth ward of the municipality on February 23, 2023. The students visited more than 150 houses, distributed the lamps, and provided instructions on calculating energy bills following Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) guidelines.
The feedback from residents was positive, and the students benefited from the program in terms of technical skill development and social commitment.
The Pala municipality congratulated the department and students for their initiative and hard work in implementing the program. Pala municipality chairperson Smt. Josin Bino presented a memento and a certificate of appreciation to the department at the event and expressed their appreciation for the program’s goals and outcomes.
Students were welcomed enthusiastically by the local residents and listened to their words with utmost care. Students gained much confidence in being a team player and also their commitment towards electrical safety had stood forward while organizing this event. Mevin Vincent of S4 EEE was the student coordinator for the event.
